My Little Homestead

This blog is dedicated to my future granddaughter who I'll call Emma. She has yet to be born, or even conceived, but since everything that goes on the internet stays on the internet, I've decided to begin sharing knowledge and stories with her now. There are many things I want to teach Emma like how to grow vegetables, preserve food, and raise chickens, things I wish my grandmother had passed down to me. This seems like a good place to start.
